It's been over ten years since we visited PVR and in all honesty that trip did not go too well for us. It was our first time to Mexico and we were a bit overwhelmed by the time share guys and the beach vendors etc. With a little more travel experience under our belts now, I think we can focus on all the positives this time.
Hoping to visit again in November so that my Ontario guy can run the PVR half marathon. Just wondering if anyone has any insight on the event. Anyone else...

Its been a few years since we've been back to Puerto Vallarta but we are planning a trip for next fall. We'll come down on a Friday and stay nine nights. Our friends will come down for a shorter time. Its so good to see so many friends are still around and still in love with this wonderful part of the world. I recently bot a condo in Mismaloya (Just south of P.V) Will be spending most of my winters down there & would love to meet some new friends.

I'm from Toronto, Canada & expect to be down in P.V. around the end of Oct. or early Nov. each year. I don't know much of what's going on in P.V. & would like to get involved with the community. I enjoy some sports.....ie. tennis, boating & adventure. Pretty active & would like to stay that way.

I'm getting married in Vallarta next February. Does anyone know of any caterers that cook and serve Mexican food at reasonable prices? Every person we've wanted to talk to wants to serve Asian fusion or Italian food, or other random (non-Mexican) foods. We're finding this to be a problem.

We live up in Remance by the big Mercado. We found our niche in the community and built an online tour booking company, www.vallartaencountours.com

Discoverd this sight after talking to a fellow P.V. lover and thought it would be a good way to meet people who have the same interests. We recently bought a 1 bedroom condo in the Marina area and had a blast remodeling it. Came across a few challenges trying to locate things and ended bringing a lot of things from the states. Boy did I miss Home Depot!

Great sight for looking up things, very helpful.

My husband and I are getting closer to our dream of retireing to P.V. After much looking last December we found a sweet condo and bought it for our own. We will move to P.V. in five years and plan to come down 3 or 4 times a year till we can move down permanetly. A friend told us about this site and already itr has been very helpful as I was reading your dicussion on where to but furniture . We are in need of a few things and now when we come down in Mayo we can hunt...
