wll be haveing an a lacarte menu added to my already well apointed
chefs table menu

just a note i will not let people know what we will be haveing for
chefs tables as far as menu goes ( element of surprise)
i will not cater to vegeterians any further due to a dissapointing
reservation were it took me 6 hours to prepare a special menu for a
group only to come up with some lame excuse as to why they didnt
arive at all LOL!

we will be reopening...

Sorry if this have been talked about in some other area. we went to Sirloins tonight for dinner. location is in liverpool mall first level above parking level. they have several dinners available but, they also have a really great buffet. reminds us of home town/old country buffets in the states. all food we had was fresh and tasted great. even saw some sushi there but for me fresh fish is just bait. 99 pesos for buffet and soft drinks were 26 pesos. all you can eat or drink. i think ol...

Blake's Rib Special on Wednesdays

We went to check out the Blake's Bar rib special they are running now on Wednesday's from 5 to 8pm.

The ribs were GREAT !!!! WAY better than El Torito.
While El Torito may be cheaper, Blake's had a MUCH bigger portion, GOOD fries, AND a GOOD fresh green salad to accompany the kilo slab of ribs. $120 per plate.
Mike and Sue also offer $10 draft (Indio or Sol) for the summer (I think, I got a little confused by the beer deals, as I am not a beer drinker).

Gotta tell you that my hubby and I just had a wonderful meal at this restaurant on Friday night! If you haven't tried it - hurry - they will close for a month or so in about 2+ weeks. Today, Sue and I met up with some friends, their visiting family members and some neighbors from Ixtapa at El Torito on the southside. A big plate of meaty BBQ ribs for 125 pesos is still the great deal it's been for a long time: 2 for 1, from 2 to 4 p.m., makes a great mid-afternoon dinner. The rib plates include french fries, cole slaw and parmesan cheese bread.. Chips and salsa for starters. Service is quick, but it would be OK if it wasn't... ET's air conditioned.

after an extremly succesfull season we are now closed as of this notice in order to expand by another 38 seats and also build an extension for julia and i to have more living space ´i would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for there suport

Four of us went to Teatrolimon for dinner Friday night to check out the "May Menu", and it was another wonderful dining experience. We all had the medallions of beef with potatoes and sauteed vegetables. I had the Portobello mushroom sauce and others had the Bordelaise sauce. Both were excelent as were the salad, stuffed crab, and desert. All in all an excellent evening.

I arrived back to PV yesterday and have felt like crap since then. My body does not take well to travel and temperature changes anymore. Needless to say I was not cooking!
