Immigration has opened a new office in Bucerias for those living in southern Nayarit State. All along, those living in Nayarit were technically supposed to be going to the Immigration office in Tepic to renew their FM3, for instance. Immigration has been bending the rules because it's a long (2 1/2 hours) and dangerous drive to Tepic from the Bucerias area.

anyone else been up to the roof of the starbucks building (malecon) to try the new restaurant CHILAQUILES?

I had breakfast there the other day with a friend. Great views, very good service, nice menu, and good food.

the waiter brings a plate of tostados and a salsa/chili tray too munch on while you look at the menu and wait for the food.

they have about 10 chilaquile specials, all kinds of eggs and...

2 new Tower Pizza shops have opened in the northshore area. One is in the new commercial plaza in front of Nuevo Vallarta, behind the Pemex. More eating spots are on the way in that plaza (Fisherman Ken's outdoor furniture store is already open there.)
The other Tower Pizza has opened at the foot of Terralta II in the small commercial strip center.
Good news for drivers heading north from Bucerias...a new Pemex is under construction, northbound, just up from the OXXO at Terralta.

I was late today finding out this tragic news this evening, but wanted to post on this board the passing of Jeff Morris in PV. Apparently Jeff succumbed to severe depression and took his own life yesterday. His former girlfriend found him and is understandably devastated. I was just checking the movie listings and the new theater in Galerias Vallarta
showed up.The just released movie Wall-E has received great reviews but I see it is only in Spanish.Anyway I hope their a/c cranks it is starting to get pretty hot and humid.
