Our spring break crew consisted of myself, my husband Kevin, my parents and our children: Ashlenn (15), Riley (17), Brysen (13) and Kyli (6).

We had one of the new Alaska Air non-stop flights out of PDX and were scheduled to take off at 9:56 a.m. and reach PV at 3:15. With the time change it was just a little over a 4 hour flight.

When I first realized that I{d booked my vacation for March instead of April, I was bummed, but then the snow started in Colorado, and it hasn{t quit...so NOW is a perfect time to get outta dodge, before shooting more holes in the freezer.

A good, albeit as always, too short a vacation. For me a good vacation is easy. It is a matter of doing what I want, when I want, with whom I want and doing these things without having to put on makeup, socks, or mittens. Get tired go to bed, had enough sleep get up, get hungry eat, get thirsty- drink Well, you get the idea.

Moving Day

Today we are moving into town and I can not wait! I enjoy the resort, but a week is more than enough time for me. I am not a lay-by-the-pool kind of gal, smile. Not a whole lot happened on day 3. I sat by the pool all afternoon and Tom, was, unfortunately, sick all day. Around 9pm or so he finally had an appetite so we ventured up to Porto Bella italian restaurant at the marina.

Food was good, a little pricer of a restaurant and after dinner, home we went.

The weather was a little warmer yesterday, which was nice.
