Overnight in Yelapa

I need a suggestion on which place to stay for 1-2 nights at the end of Feb., Casa Playita , Casa Playita Arriba or Lagunita hotel? It seems like the Casas are the better deal. What are the differences and locations between the 2 Casas? Should I be booking now or can I wait until I get there Jan 2nd? Might be a good question for Robert. Thanks!

So you saw soccer on the beach in Yelapa. We just got 12 inches of heavy snow dumped on us. It's beautiful but it reminded me that we will be in Yelapa in 108 days. But who's counting any way.

i have been reading up about yelapa and plan to visit PV in late febuary early march splitting my time between the 2 cities.

i have read many reviews, but have some specific questions about accommodations in yelapa. i am looking for an inexpensive place to stay, but one that has privacy for a couple. the accommodation can be quite small and "rustic" and do not mind sharing a bathroom if need be, but definitely want the sleeping quarters to be our own.

There is quite a low tide this evening, so the playita is big enough for two parallel futbol games. A game right below the house of little boys 6-10 years old, and a game down by the water of grown men. The sound of their voices combined with the sound of the waves makes music unnecessary in our house just now.

We are coming to PV as usual for the winter. We are thinking of spending a night or 2 at Lagunita hotel. Has anyone ever stayed there and if so ,how would you rate your experience? Are there some rooms that are better than others? How is the food? We were in Yelapa a couple of years back and rented someones casa and that was ok but I think that this time we would like to try the hotel. Since we are coming for 3 months, we will prob. wait until we get to pv to book it. Any info would be great!...

My friend Chris and I are coming to Yelapa for an extended stay in a couple of weeks courtesy of our friend Deb who has a place there. Water Taxi Question

My wife and I arrive into the PV airport at 3:40 next Wednesday. Will we be able to to make the last water taxi from PV to Yelapa? I am hoping someone can advise me about which pier to leave from? And how to get from the airport to the pier? I am assuming a tax ride will be the quickest way to get to the pier.

We are coming back to Yelapa in October/November. We have entered a partnership with a family there and helped to build Casa Anahi. What I really want to have while I am in Yelapa, and for others who stay at the casa, are either a double or two single kayaks.
