Are the Friday night board meetings still being held at CyC? If not, where?

I know that we will still be there in May/June and October/November. Prices may be a little higher, but they are still less than here.
Robert, are there still plans for a Portland trip to Powell's? |

No, that didn't work out, Mike. I was offered a signing at Cody's in Berkeley, a similar massively stocked store, but turned that down. Publishers no
longer have promotion budgets for mid-list authors (i.e., non-famous authors) and the cost vs. revenue ratio for me was heavy on the cost and light on the
revenue. I am building up a steady readership and am hoping my agent can persuade a house to issue the whole series in trade paperback editions.

Hi Robert, I'm wondering about the board meetings too. Maybe I missed the answer somewhere. We're coming down this month and we're wondering
if everyone's still meeting at CyCs since I hear their prices have gone up.

There are still informal meet-up's at CyC's on Friday evenings for sunset. I have not been attending these on any frequent basis for about two years as
when I was with Croc's, I could never get out of work on time as the weekends were always busy. Since then, it was summer, and then for high season, my
Friday's have been centered on having dinner with Carlos, or out with friends. (Friday seems to be the night my friends have a birthday or a party or
something going on)
I am planning on starting up a new All Vallarta meet-up but maybe in a new location and for sure a different night as Friday's for me are pretty much full. I miss seeing everyone but the job comes first, then dinner (being diabetic I need my dinner!  ....so.... please feel free to keep up the Friday night meet
up's at CYC'S until a new official one starts.
