Holiday Inn-Sea River Towers |
Lead | |

This may be a stupid question but...are the one bedroom apartments at the Holiday Inn ,in the Holiday Inn or the Sea River Towers building? We booked a one
bedroom unit from an owner of the Los Tules but they were filled so being affiliated, she got us a unit at the Holiday Inn for the full month of February. I
was just wondering where it would be and what floors are the one bedroom units located? I just didn't want to be stuck in a cubby hole somewhere looking
at the janoritors closet. Another question...does anybody have blueprint so to speak of the grounds? Thank you for your time in answering my questions.

Bonnie, when you say one bedroom unit, do you mean a 1-bedroom condo or a hotel room? The Sea River Tower has mostly 1 bedroom condos in it. Most are privately
owned. The Holiday Inn has all hotel rooms, no kitchen or living room. As far as the rooms in the Sea River Tower, unless you are in a corner room, which would
be the ones numbered 31 all the way up, you should be fine. I don't know of any blue print available of the grounds. The Tower is the tall tower in the
front of the property that you see from the street. From there you just walk through the building to go out to the pool. Once outside you will see everything
you need, except the hot tubs are up one floor, above the lobby bar. There is also a dipping pool and and an exercise room up there. If you are in the tower,
you will also see all of this from your balcony. Enjoy!
I will be there one week from tomorrow!!!

Patdale--First, thank you so much for answering my questions. It is a one bedroom condo, that is supposed to sleep 5-6 ple. The lady we are renting from,
called down there but they couldn't tell her which unit for sure we would be in and that we would have to call a week or so before we arrive(which is the
normal way-first come first serve)to find out. You can bet your butt that I will be requesting a unit # ending in 31. LOL I know you love & enjoy PV as
much as we do so have a good, relaxing time at our second home.

I don't know if I read it wrong, but I thought Pat meant that your room should NOT end in 31. Better find out for sure.

That is correct. NOT end in 31

Unfortunately there are a couple of lower floors in the tower that have been bought by some timeshare company. If that is the case, beware.

If it's the Royal Holiday Club, which runs the Los Tules timeshare operation, they are indeed "affiliated".

Yes, the woman we are renting from belongs to Royal Holiday Club. We found her on TUG, and she owns a timeshare at the Los Tules, Las Palmas and Paradise
Village. So I wonder if I should be a little leery? She just said she called the Holiday Inn and they told her that we had to call before we came. Maybe, I
should just call down myself, what do you think?
Karenasue--- What do you mean "Unfortunately there are a couple of lower floors in the tower that have been bought by some timeshare company."? Thank you for everybody's input, it is truly appreciated. Bonnie |

It is the Royal Holiday group, I went down and checked tonight.
"We are not timeshare people, we are a VACATION club." uh huh Bonnie, I wrote that because I don't like the fact they gobbled up a couple of floors of condo units in this building, and spit their spiel at me when I
walk past them. They change personnel so often when I get a couple of 'em knowing I am an owner new timesharks start and so does the process of telling
them "No, gracias".

That is what I was thinking, that it had to be with the Royal Holiday Vacation club (timeshare). Most of their units are on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors.
Your condo will be very nice, I am sure. As Karen said, the grounds, pool, and beach, are wonderful. Another reason we (the owners) don't care for the
timeshare group is they vote however the HI tells them at the HOA meetings, so we don't have a chance to get what we want.
