We had to modify plans a bit due to some family obligations. Plane tix have been purchased, I burned some frequent flyer miles and got our tix from SFO/PVR for a lot less than I expected. We have also reserved the condo at Copa de Oro again, so all is good. Dates, now set in stone, are Sun. 10/26 through Tues. 11/4. Can't wait to see so many wonderful friends!

So if you think you guys (see I didn't say y'all this time) will come downtown in PV on your first night (since you stay in the seriously north 'burbs), maybe we can rendezvous at least for a drink. Gail, it will be great to see you and Kim again! Will you be at the Emperador? Tell Kim I got that book she told me about last year and am still reading through it, but love it! Yvette, I'm going to make sure Ricardo gives me an extra lock on my hotel door, as I'm pretty sure you're still planning to sneak in one of these days and rearrange my furniture while I'm gone. I think maintaining is harder than loosing, but I am doing it. We are not staying at the Emperador this time. We found a Condo-Loma Del Mar B-10 on Rodolfo Gomez. Looks cute and reviews I've read are good. Of course we can't wait to get there. This summer is busy, daughter getting married in 3 weeks and all that goes with that. Then when summer is over, it will be time to pack for PV. Can't wait to get there and see "Y'all" (I said it for you). See you in a few months. Kim

Sorry it has taken me a while to get the newest dates entered - my daughter has been having troubles with her pregnancy and then our computer decided to quit working - grrrrrr. Darn thing. Baby is due to be induced next Tuesday, Aug. 5th - please keep your fingers crossed for momma and baby (first boy in years and years). Kim & Deb - I need to get that book. I am in the process of losing 50 lbs. (only 5 lbs. to go - yippie) but when I look in the mirror I still see the fat me. I hope everyone has a wonderful trip. Karen

When I read it there were so many parts that I felt like I could have written it. I lost 68# and I know what you mean by still seeing the same body in the mirror. I have been maintaining for almost a year and have had so much fun buying clothes and getting my hair cut etc. I am definitely a different person than I was two years ago. I feel good, which is the most important thing. Congratulations on your weight loss. I know it isn't easy. It is a life change for sure. Thanks for keeping the calendar updated. It is very nice of you.
