Which resort/hotel (Nuevo Vallarta)? |

I have a free week from II and we are planning to visit PV for the first time (my husband and I and our 3 year-old son).
We are debating between Villa del Palmar Flamingo and the Paradise Village. Suggestions? |

Of the two, I'd recommend Paradise Village. It's a really nice resort with a great beach and swimming pools.
It is also right by the Paradise Plaza mall, with several places to eat, including kid-favorite Dominos, McDonalds and Subway. I've visited several people staying there and the rooms are very pretty. Villa del Palmar is also very lovely, but fairly isolated. |

Paradise Village also has a great kids area in the new sports complex near the golf course that your 3 year old will love. Inflatable bounce areas, a kids pool with fountains, mini-slides and colorful water showers in the pool. They will shuttle you over and I believe their is a snack shop over there too.

The resort is lovely and your family will have a great time, but be aware that Nuevo Vallarta is a ways out of PV proper. About 1/2 hour bus ride without traffic.
God was my co-pilot, but we crashed in the Andes and I had to eat him

I also agree with Paradise Village. The El Tigre kids area is wonderful! It's a beautiful complex and we often go there with our 2 year old.
Plus, the bus ride into town is fun, too! |
