This day was by far my most favorite day of our whole trip. It was
shopping day! We started the day by doing breakfast at Mama Delores'. For
me, this is the best breakfast place ever. I LOVE the crepes. However,
everything there is great and reasonably priced. http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a163/SPrestegard/100_2035.jpg After breakfast we walked down the street so I could use a cash machine. No matter what I
did, it would come on and say that it couldn't connect to my bank. No big deal, I'd just try a different one
somewhere else. We made our way down to the flea market. I had to make sure
everyone went across the foot bridge. http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a163/SPrestegard/100_2041.jpg

We shopped around and got all our souvenirs, etc. That place makes me ultra paranoid with Kyli. You could loose a child in there in seconds. We were constantly "who has her, where
is she". We came out the other side and I went over to use the cash machine at the bank. Again, the same problem with my card. My mom tried hers, which is the same bank, and it
worked! I tried mine again - wouldn't work. So, I had mom withdraw another
3000 pesos for me (and now that I write this I realize I still need to pay her back!). I had notified our bank before
we left that I'd be using our debit card in Mexico and I was able to use it at the airport when we first arrived.
When we got home we went to the bank and they couldn't tell us why it wouldn't work which is scary because if my parents hadn't been there,
we'd have had no way to access any more cash.
At this point, my mom, Ashlenn and I said good-bye to the boys and Kyli.
They had had enough shopping http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a163/SPrestegard/100_2040.jpg and we wanted to continue
on in hopes of finding a dress that Ashlenn could wear for prom. We looked everywhere, up and down every street until
we were too tired, hot and thirsty to go on. We didn't come upon anything that Ashlenn found
acceptable. We got some smoothies and hopped a taxi back to Villa del Palmar because we didn't want to miss our
4:00 massage appointments!! We made it back with enough time to have a quick snack and drink and then it was out to the
magical white "tent of heaven" as I call it. Mom, Ash and I had hour and a half massages. http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a163/SPrestegard/100_2044.jpg There wasn't
a word uttered. There was just the breeze blowing and the sound of the waves crashing.
When our time was up, I told them that I was sorry, but I was going to be spending the rest of my vacation in this white tent. After I was physically removed from the tent, I went up and got ready for dinner. I wanted
to have dinner tonight somewhere where I could put my feet in the sand. Langostino's fit the bill. Kevin and I use to make Langostino's our first dinner of our trip when we stayed in PV and I was missing it. We had a great dinner! Got there just before sunset and got some fabulous
photos. http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a163/SPrestegard/100_2055.jpg

I had shrimp grilled in butter and garlic and they were awesome. The margaritas were very good there
too.
We walked dinner off along the Malecon and came across one of the spray paint artists. The kids had never seen this before and were completely amazed. I think Kyli would have stood there and watched all night. She and the boys each came away with two paintings each. We had our taxi races back to the hotel and called it a day.
