Posts: 10273 (06/28/08 12:59 PM) Board Owner and Moderator Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	To clear up a few things, I started, own and administrate/moderate the board, so as JR says I kinda can do what I want, but essentially I try to do what is right for the board. Forum moderators have a little leeway as they moderate for free but I allow them to promote something if it is something I also feels worth promoting. (IE: good service, value, etc.) To Keith: I allow the first one or two posts with self promotion off the bat but if it continues to be only self promotion type posts without helping out others by answering questions, etc. I send them a warning, or a moderator may send them a warning. If they continue, posts may be removed or they may be banned completely. This board is about exchanging information, having fun and answering questions. If someone takes the time to answer questions or posts some good information, I will allow them to plug themselves once in a while To JR, yep! Claro? They seem to be the main ones who make their spam the first post. At least if they post in the right place we should expect it. Usually they leave out useful information, preferring to get hits on their own sites. If we just issue guidelines such as - street address, colonia - size in m2 - price by week, both in both prime and off season, or by month for long term - availability - openings in the next 2 months this would serve to establish if clicking their link is warranted. And automatic removal when they fail to meet this minimum standard.
