A Mexican from Nuevo Vallarta has instituted water taxi service from NV to Yelapa. The boat also stops at Los Muertos at 10 a.m. seven days a week and returns
from Yelapa at 11 a.m. There are afternoon trips as well that I will post when I find out the schedule. The boat's name is Carley, which means sea turtle
in Spanish and is pronounced Kar-Lay. Both the boat and motors are brand new.

You mean the name of a specific turtle? They weren't thinking of Charlie Tuna, were they? Maybe Careyes? That's a term I haven't heard.

Actually, the boat's name is CAREY, not Carley, pronounced kah-RAY (accent on the last syllable). "Carey" (or "tortuga carey") is the
Spanish name for the Hawksbill sea turtle specifically. The generic name for sea turtle is "tortuga marina".

Colorado Belle, according to their posters the Carey leaves Los Muertos every morning at 9:45 and returns to Los Muertos every afternoon at 4:30.
No cost cited but it's probably around ten dollars u.s. one-way as are the others. |

Diver Gal... In regards to our new water taxi, we are rethinking our current setup of 8 giant motors and looking for a solution to add two more and therefore
getting you to your hard earned vacation minutes sooner. Sorry to say we will have to raise the price for a ticket. More information soon. We do appreciate
your interest. ps...we don't use life-preservers as we have high tech seatbelts and your chair becomes a floating device.
