It has been raining about 24 hours now. Does anyone have a really large rain gauge to tell how much rain we have had? My guess is 14 inches! We love
it! We are getting lots of reading and chores done in the house. Any mudslides in Amapas yet?

I have emptied my rain guage twice since sat. morning. the last time at 10 am and its almost half full at 7 pm. I would guess 14-16 inches in Buenos Aires

Is it heavy downpour or just steady like we had for those 4 days back in early June? I'm back in the USA now but I do worry about flooding.

Yesterday's newspaper had a photo of a man who died when a landslide hit his house(Allende/?).Another photo of highway 200 towards Mismoloya showed city
workers cleaning up rock slides.Also the river in Boca de Tomatlan swallowed up 6 cars.On a personal note the potholes seem to growing exponentially so watch
out for those seemingly innocuous puddles.
