This is not a review, Bruce, it is an advertisement and I would appreciate it if you would put it down in that section - I'll read it anyway, but putting
it here just plain bugs me. And I'm full of jejene bites right now!

have to agree with sea gazer. not only is this blatant, its boring and you need to start using spell checker. all reviews here have been written by honest
people paying honest money to eat at a great restaurant. When we visited you, the food was adequate, service was good, prices were high, bordering on
ridiculous, and the group of us were not allowed time to enjoy our meal. we were rushed out and dont need you hovering over us......
get over yourself and stop self promoting on this site.

Ok, I am confused. Seagazer and cdngirl, you are correct, this is not a "review". But, it isn´t posted in the "review" section. It is
posted in "business promotions". Which it most certainly is.
Where would you have him post it? I know, I had the same thought but this is a "family" forum. Now, as to the issue of whether or not he should
be posting his endless self-promotions at all, that is another topic altogether and pretty much up to Brenda to referee. But in my humble opinion, this is the
place for them, for better or for worse. Far better here, than with the legitimate reviews.

I have heard these same criticisms of your place:
the food was adequate, service was good, prices were high, bordering on ridiculous, and the group of us were not allowed time to enjoy our meal.There are RAVES on this board for Sirloin Stockade, as well as your place. High praise indeed. Complete sentences, and spell check on your posts would be refreshing. Nice way to handle criticism.

I can understand why people may be a little offended by visits to your restaurant, and the way you approach negative comments . I haven't been to your new place. I ate at the Back Alley only once. The food was very good, and although more expensive than most restaurants I frequent, I had no complaints about the quality. I agree that is because you probably pay a lot for imported meats. I think you may be your own worst enemy. You sat down at our table uninvited, and when our friend, who was buying dinner for us commented on the very high price of the wines, you became very defensive. I have met you at other venues, and while I know you are a very generous person, you can often appear brusque and loud. Perhaps a "kinder, gentler" approach would improve people's opinions.
